Colombo eats at Chasen's

Oh, I know exactly the scene you're talking about, but I can't remember which episode that's in.
4. You don't know how much I love The Deadly Dolls. It's just so out there, batsh*t crazy, I love it. And... Vincent Price. You can never go wrong with Vincent Price. I LMAO during this episode every single time. I know it's ridiculous, but I can't help it. It's a guilty pleasure. Thoughts, anyone?

Recycled Scripts

Well, I did some research about this and wrote a little blog post about recycled tv scripts awhile back for TVYesteryear.com.

Lost In Space Fan Fiction

I also really enjoyed "Candle", an epilogue to Time Merchant and also "Essence" where we see a bit different side of Smith.

Lost In Space Fan Fiction

Unfortunately, the LISA website is no more. Long story, but, I've heard they're working on bring it back. In the meantime, some of the stories I recommended there are also on Fanfiction.net. Fur Ball Pot Shot Search For Justice And a relatively new one from Lorie, Fly Boys.

Scary Lucy Statue Replaced

A few years ago, a statue of Lucille Ball was dedicated in her hometown of Celoron, New York. The statue by sculptor Dave Poulin was quickly dubbed "Scary Lucy" because it bore little resemblance to the actress and, well, it was scary looking. On what would have been Lucille Ball's 105th birthday, a new bronze statue by sculptor Carolyn Palmer was dedicated. Unlike the previous statue, this Lucy statue is gorgeous and looks just like her!
11. MeTV has broken up its Sci-Fi Saturday Night lineup. Starting 9/10/16, there will be a new block called Red Eye Sci-Fi. The Time Tunnel will run at 1AM, Land of the Giants at 2AM, Lost In Space is moving to 3AM and Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea to 4AM. Rounding out the lineup is Planet of the Apes at 5AM. Fans have been extremely upset about the changes, especially those who livetweet the shows on Twitter and have even started a hashtag, #ProtestTooLateSciFi, in protest.

Popular Mechanics' Top 50 Sci-Fi Shows of All Time

I liked Sliders, but I don't see how it ranks in the top 20. Quantum Leap should rank higher than Sliders. Also, I'd rank Star Trek: The Original Series higher than Next Generation. I'm glad to see Lost In Space on the list and personally, I'd rank it higher, but that's personal bias talking. I'd have liked to see Voyage To The Bottom of the Sea on the list too. I'm a sucker for Irwin Allen shows, if you hadn't noticed. I'm sure I'll give this more thought and post again.
14. The Lost In Space Blu-ray will be available on the 50th anniversary of the show's premiere, September 15th, 2015. It has tons of extras, interviews with the cast, two documentaries about the show, commentary on select episodes, a table reading of Bill Mumy's un-filmed script that was meant to give the show closure, and best of all, completely remastered footage! Here is a sample of the remastered series: Pre-order the Lost In Space 50th Anniversary Blu-ray.
15. I ran across an article today, Popular Mechanics' Top 50 Sci-Fi shows of all time. It's an interesting list, which I have some disagreement with, which I will talk about in a subsequent post. The article is here: http://www.popularmechanics.com/cult...i-fi-tv-shows/ but I'll post the list here for quick reference. What do you think of this list? Is there something there you think shouldn't be? Is there a show you think they missed that should be included? 50. Thunderbirds 49. Land of the Lost 48. Space: 1999 47.
