Default Favorite TV Quotes and Catch Phrases

Instantly watch from thousands of TV episodes & movies streaming from Netflix. Try Netflix for FREE!
There are some tv shows where you can say a phrase or two and most folks will know exactly which show you're talking about. For example, "Elizabeth! I'm comin' to join ya, honey!" was commonly said on Sanford & Son. Another one was "Sit on it!" from Happy Days. These sayings become popular and are frequently quoted or used in conversation. They're a part of our pop culture. Everyone has their favorites. What are your favorite TV quotes and catch phrases?

    Some of mine:

Book 'em, Danno. - Hawaii Five-o
    I know nothing! - Hogan's Heroes
I love it! I love it! - Dukes of Hazzard
I love it when a plan comes together. - The A-Team
Beam me up, Scotty - Star Trek (Yeah, I know that exact phrase was never used on the show, but it's become irrevocably tied to the show.)
Let's bust some punks! - The Good Guys
    "Oh, the pain, the pain!"

Since we've been watching The Honeymooners lately, I have to add:

Bang, zoom! To the moon, Alice!
    Baby, you're the greatest.

Then, because I'm such a sci fi geek... I actually use this one a lot...

    Danger, Will Robinson!

And some Mary Tyler Moore, which we've been watching too. Have I mentioned I LOVE all the retro tv networks we get?

A little song, a little dance, a little seltzer down your pants. (ROFL!)

I LOVE that line. One of my favorite Cheers quotes. Norm's got so many quotable lines. I like this one..

Women. You can't live with 'em. Pass the beernuts.

I also love when Cliff is trying to market his "beetabaga fajita in a pita". ROFL. I've said that to the hubby before, "Would you like to try a beetabaga fajita in a pita?" and he just stared at me like I was insane. LOL.

I always loved when Bones and Spock got into it with each other. LOL.

    Oh, I forgot...

    "He's dead, Jim." ROFL.

Many, many years ago, I worked for a hospital. Our second-level manager was named, no kidding, Dr. McCoy. Every time he left the office, my co-workers and I would turn to each other and say "He's dead, Jim."
